Erie, PA. Much better weather and Mississippi is probably the most depressing state in the country. Pennsylvania isn't terribly far ahead though IMO....
My wire and I lived in Cape Cod for a year and a half and I've visited the Golden Isles since the 70's. Would definitely prefer GI, GA. Much better beaches, beaches are more accessible, much warmer/long warm weather season, more comfortable ocean water, slightly friendlier people, prefer the tropical atmosphere, and way more affordable. It's a slam dunk for me personally. I didn't hate Cape Cod. I just didn't find it as great as its reputation suggests.

Grand Rapids, MI or Harrisburg, PA?
My initial reaction was "Grand Rapids, based on several visits to Harrisburg."
But much of what surrounds Pennsylvania's state capital is absolutely lovely country. I'd lose easy access to all that in Grand Rapids.
Stil, GR's bigger, and there is the scenery surrounding Lake Michigan nearby. Grand Rapids after all, then.
Houston; I think I would prefer to live in a place like Colorado Springs, but Houston has more to offer for young people staring out in their careers
Boston, Massachusetts or Nashville, Tennessee?
We won. Nashville.
Atlanta, GA or Indianapolis, IN?
