Jamestown, Rhode Island. Very interestong location as an actual island, that's cool. Stonington seems like a nice small town, though.

Omaha, Nebraska vs Milwaukee, Wisconsin

Though Milwaukee is larger, I REALLY like Omaha. One of the best small metros in the nation. It punches really hard for its size.

Fayetteville, AR or Boise, ID?

Both very urban, and very urbane, places next door to cool metropolitan centers. It's hard to choose between the two.

Except for one thing: in Cambridge, you won't be subjected to dealing with Official Washingtonians. (Arrogant Harvardians like me are easier to handle IMO.)

Cambridge it is.

Pasadena, Calif., or Pasadena, Texas?

Fargo... larger, a little more cosmopolitan with more to do, less regionally isolated.

Louisville, KY or Salt Lake City, UT?

Louisville is better situated, but it's still in Kentucky--I'll pass. No good choice for me, here..

Champaign-Urbana, IL vs. Syracuse, NY

Syracuse. New York is more appealing to me than Illinois, and proximity to Canada is a plus. I'm pretty sure Syracuse is more urban as well, though possibly not by much.

Boise, Idaho vs Santa Fe, New Mexico
