Remember: it's about skyline. Very similar to SD but shorter and without the waterfront. However, density makes up for that.

Didn't you go to San Pedro Sq? What about Tech Museum? SoFA is cool with SoFA Market and cool art district. SJ State is also there. How could you have been bored???? Japan town is a nice area.

Remember: Downtown San Jose has 80 high rises. It's now seeing a huge high rise construction boom that will double the downtown in just 5 years.

It may be to prevent edits with bad intentions.

Ah, yeah. I conflated skyline and downtown in my head. Reading comprehension fail.

If we are talking strictly about skylines, yes, Bellevue would be in the conversation.

Bellevue is a johnny come lately and I’m not particularly impressed as a Seattleite. I don’t think it belongs in this conversation.

I’d easily prefer to spend an evening downtown in Tacoma, Olympia or Bellingham over Bellevue. Easily. So in my opinion it is only #5 for the state of Washington, let alone the entire West Coast.
I totally agree with you but this is about skylines. In terms of skylines Bellevue is definitely #2 in Washington State. In terms of fun downtowns, I’d put it behind Seattle, Tacoma, Bellingham, Olympia, Spokane, and honestly even several others like Kirkland, Bothell, etc.
