There's no chance Hollywood would move out of America. Vancouver has no chance.

ankhharu-- Im sure there were more movies filmed in NYC and LA, but the thing is Albuquerque is just getting started in the movie business and already is making a big impact, imagine what the next few years will bring, Our movie studios is booked solid.
So like it or not little ol Albuquerque is a big player in the movie industry and like I said people in the movie industry are moving here..

just the other day I overheard a guy telling someone on the phone that he was nominated for an emmy and that they are going to start production on another tv series.

Plymouth ROCK Studios, Plymouth Mass.

They put up a "Hollywood East" sign in downtown Plymouth in front of a veterans memorial. People were not too pleased.

It would most likely go back to New York.

ATLANTA. But it lacks the scenic diversity of So.Cal. In the digital FX age, that may not be a problem.

The technical personnel are certainly available, due to Turner / CNN.

Probably could invest in some bodacious sound stages and movie lots.

But the hot, humid weather would probably require climate controlled sets.

How would you move the city? I don't think we have the technology to move a whole city to another location. Unless we took it piece by piece.

Well actually Hollywood tried to secede from the city of Los Angeles and become it's own city but L.A didn't let it happen. But going along with the destruction of socal theme I would say New York because that's where most of the U.S movies made outside of L.A are made anyway. My next choice would be CHI.
