Well, both cities are vastly under appreciated and looked down on by the oh so refined "coasts" but both are great cities. Both cities get bashed for percieved bad weather, but nothing beats a Great Lakes summer and Houston has awesome weather for 9+ months (and I don't mind the summers here). I prefer Houston, but like Chicago alot except for the corrupt politics.
