North America - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
I don't see anything silly about that...I know what wikipedia says.. Definitions differ and my kids will be smarter than yours. Central America is part of North America so why isn't anyone mentioning cities from there?

Let's see what else the wiki says:
"Geopolitically, the West Indies are usually reckoned as a subregion of North America"
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Caribbean

"USUALLY" means sometimes the Caribbean (i.e. the West Indies) is considered part of N. America and other times it is not.

For me and many other Caribbeans, the Caribbean is just.. well.. the Caribbean.

If people wish to go by these looser definitions and eschew common sense, Central American cities should also be included in the discussion... and so should Greenland. That would certainly be no weirder than including the Caribbean.

If we are saying the Caribbean is part of N. America for the purposes of this thread, I amend my list:

1) NYC (easily)
...
2) Chicago
3) Philadelphia
4) Boston
5) Santo Domingo, D.R.
6) Washington DC
7) Orlando
8) Miami
9) Santiago, D.R.
10) Puerto Plata, D.R.
11) West Lafayette, IN (surprisingly)
12)Tampa and surroundings (St. Pete/Clearwater)

There, 12.
