I heard some people call Dallas an overgrown Oklahoma City, do you agree with that? If you don't agree, then what city is Dallas like?

Dallas is strikingly similar to Atlanta actually.

But yeahhh I see a lot of resemblance between Dallas & Oklahoma City, it's kind of like how Atlanta views Charlotte, just that Charlotte is way more ahead of the game than Oklahoma City.

Doesn't Oklahoma city take up about 3 times the land mass that Dallas occupies? I thought Oklahoma city was the largest city in terms of geographic size that is not consolidated with the county that it is in.

Anchorage, Alaska is. But in the 48 lower states Jacksonville is the largest. Over 800+ square miles of land.

Both Jacksonville and Anchorage have consolidated city/county areas.

Oklahoma City is the biggest that is not consolidated.

I just searched Dallas to see some pictures, what is this thing called? I always see it around in picture areas... just never bothered asking before.

I think Oklahoma City would have a lot in common with Dallas on a cultural standpoint. It's kind of like what Charlotte is to Atlanta.
