lol Jones Beach isn't a town. Just goes to show you don't really know much about NY beaches.
I don't need to know ANYTHING about NY beaches to know Florida's beaches are in another league. Putting Northeast beaches on the same level as Florida beaches is like saying Jacksonville offers just as much urbanity as NYC.
No Palm tress but the surf can be very good (much better than the gulf but not as good as west coast for surfing) and the water is warmer than San Diego the majority of the year. Jersey will get into the 80s (water temp) in the summer. I think most (especially those who have never been) would be surprised at just how nice the Jersey beaches actually are. Don't think the MTV betrayal (portrayal) is anything like the Jersey shore. Also I think something like 40 million people visit the Jersey shore every year. It is also some of the most expensive real estate in the country.
Not true only during summer does it get warmer. October through May the water is warmer in Southern CA
Not really, outside of South Beach and Ft. Lauderdale, Florida beaches are bland and boring.
Oh yeah, well Outside of, well, hmm, Northeast beaches are just bland and boring period. Just kidding. Atlantic City, and Seaside Heights look like there alright(and only alright). But the Northeast beaches OVERALL are blah at best. Just a bunch of old money and socialites, ESPECIALLY at The Hampton's, and Martha's Vineyard. Those are the 2 PRIMARY places I think of when I think of Northeast beaches. Old money, and Northeast socialites. No thanks.
Not for those that live in surrounding states & the central region of the country. They flock to the beaches of Southern Texas every year like clock work.
I bet there are more spring breakers in the state of Florida than
TX beaches..
Maybe, but that doesn't change the fact that Texas still receives a fair amount of Spring Breakers.
I never said it didnt. But I know there are several places that BET and MTV have filmed in Florida. BET just did daytona beach panama city and RIvera beach this year....
People mentioning other states except California, Texas, and Florida are idiots. Can you tan on your beach in the middle of December and still swim in the water? In Hawaii you can but all these other states you can't.
