Florida is indeed part of the south. I live in the Florida panhandle, that part that borders Alabama and Georgia, and believe me when I cross the state line into Georgia there is no difference I mean none going across that line. Call the folks who live in the panhandle anything but southern, and see what type of response you get.

Miami is definitely southern. It has a lot of other stuff going on, but southern culture is definitely part of Miami life.

I said southern culture. Not "THE ONE MONOLITHIC HOMOGENIZED" southern culture.
