I think we might be going the corporate housing route. Can anyone suggest some good places to check out in Wilmington? Thanks in advance!

Default I agree

I think you might be right! I was Googling and whatnot last night. There seem to be a couple of apartment communities that offer corporate housing, but it'd be cheaper to rent an apartment on a short term lease. I guess because Wilmington isn't a big corporate, job-offering town, there isn't a big need for it. Argh! lol....

oh really? because for some reason, wilmington seems to "think" that it's a big corporate town and the undercover real estate agents have made several posts on how employers are finding this area! what area are you looking to live in. I lived in briarcliff apartments. it wasn't too bad. they were one of the only places that had a short term lease. I was there for 6 months and then went month to month. they are off of gordon road. there might be some other places in the monkey junction area that offer the short term lease. the thing is that they only have a limited number of short terms to rent out.

You might want to check out one of those extended stay type places. I believe there is one very close to the intersection of Eastwood and Market.

I would also suggest contacting one of the larger real estate companies to inquire. Many of them have rental departments and could probably steer you in the right direction.

there is an extended stay america at the corner of eastwood and market. it isn't too bad. you get a free membership to golds gym. I stayed there for a month two years ago when I first came down. you are better off just renting for a short term. it was a pain staying in a motel. plus if you sign a six month lease, it will give you plenty of time to look for homes. if you plan to buy, I wouldn't worry too much about prices going up!!!
