I have been collecting baseballs and baseball bats for almost 25years. My wife and I were in tears when the great players told us what they had to go through just to play the game... We loved to see and hear their stories. ...Now the League has many lawyers cashing in on their great accomplishments.
I also have around 250 American, National and Negro League signed official baseballs packed away from light. My most favorite item is a baseball bat that has 24 Negro League Players signatures.
DH has all of the baseball, football and basketball cards from when he was a kid. He has 20 or more totes full of cards and complete sets in boxes of baseball back to I believe 1964 or so. He was working on 1963 cards he needed but cannot find near mint cards to complete the sets.
He also has signed baseballs ( many from going to spring training in Florida ) and some jerseys.
Not a full time thing but does have everything from his childhood and added to the collection as an adult.
