I took 18 credits every semester (for fun), so I graduated with over twenty extra credits. I didn't have a job then and I still don't, but I'm sure it'd be difficult to tackle 6+ classes with a job. I admire the people who can pull it off and maintain high grades though.

I can't take more than 12, because I work full time! But I salute you for trying..I wish I had the luxury to not have to work.

Me too! I only take 1-2 courses per semester because I work full time. I wish I could take more.

yep, at age 45 I took 22 units a quarter and stayed on the Dean't List, but no life outside of classes. Funny, I remember more from that time of life than any other classes I took.

Only did once, I believe. I did high school through my local JC, and the last semester (because I decided to graduate early) was chock full of units. I got enough to pass.

Since then, haven't bothered. 12-13 units at most. If I had leftover units/classes to have graduated on time, I did them over the summer. Two classes over the summer is much more manageable than 6 classes during the regular semester -- for me.

I've done 21 including 3 lab classes. Also junior year. I did well.

My College didn't even allow more than 18 per semester, I think. Not without permission. Not sure if we are talking about the same unit system here. No idea how to convert 22 units per quarter or something like that.

You went to Princeton?

To the OP, I work full time and I manage 15-17 credits per semester. You should be OK as long as you put in the effort to study. Really, it is all about time management. Instead of wasting time, just use your free time for work. Aint no rest for the wicked

I had one semester of 17 classes, plus I worked two part time jobs. That was too much, so I took it down to 13-14 per semester and made up for the lost credits in the summers--much easier!

Yes. I didn't have much of a choice in the matter. My parents wanted me to stay close to home.
