Does anyone know whether something is being built on the empty lot next to Starbucks on Bradley Park dr? I see what looks like stakes for a foundation and heavy equipment on the lot. I always thought that was a good location for a restaurant.

They've been working on the back of the lot for a few weeks now. If anything is going to be built there, it would a Burger King. The local development company for BK has owned that lot for years.

I've noticed the construction equipment as well. While BK isn't the most exciting thing, it would be nice not to see that lot go to waste.

They own 70 Burger Kings, their HQ is also a work of art... they're looking to add 2 more locations soon. My guesses would be Midland and Bradley Park.

The Burger King franchise system is interesting, but not as liberal as the McDonald's system. Any new updates guys?

Bradley Park wouldn't be a new location.

Yes it would, they don't have a Bradley Park location right now.

Not a huge fan of BK but if that's the plan for the site, I'm glad to see it developed. That lot has always been an eyesore bc everything else is developed around it. Good to see it go hopefully.

On another note, looks like the apartment portion of Old Town is opening soon. This project is moving along nicely. I'm ready for the retail/restaurant announcements!!!

I'm looking forward to hearing what comes there too! Anyone have any idea what kinds of retail/restaurants will go there? The latest plans look a lot more expansive the the last time I looked at them!
