Installing & Using Skype (laptop, gmail, how to, Windows)

Can anyone tell me in "single-syllable" words how to install and use Skype? I have a new laptop with a built-in camera and mike and I would like to be able to use these features and talk to my sister across the country. I tired to fugure out how to use Google to do this but to no avail.

Install it, log in, done.

If you want to add someone, they need a skype account too. Add their username to your contacts. They've made it incredibly simple. What part are you hung on?

If you and your sister already have a gmail account, it's just a matter of installing a plugin and clicking the little camera next to your sisters name in the chat list.
