I've had my new Mac Mini for a few months now, got it with Mountain Lion on it, and in general I'm quite happy with it, it's really a very nice machine, but one thing I am not so pleased with is that it spins down my external USB disks after a certain time, I think 30 minutes, and I don't want it to do that.
Now with my last Mac Mini all you had to do was go into power options, and tell it not to do that, which I have done on this one, but it still does it, and I want it to stop doing that, but I don't know how to make it stop that. I don't want to have to wait for a disk to spin up to access it, I want it running already, and with 10 terabytes of external disk it's become a bit of an irritation.
So does anyone know how to make Mountain Lion stop spinning down my disks every 30 minutes?
