Does anyone know why Madison did not qualify for the USNews best schools list this past year? Are the schools slipping?

No, the schools in Madison are not "slipping". They are still considered to be excellent. These publications do this every year. The have a new list and it rarely, if ever, includes any of the previous year winners. I think that they do this just to sell magazines. If they keep saying the same schools over and over, the list becomes stale and people won't go out of their way to buy them. It really is just a marketing game. Jay
