IDK, I'm still a loyal S&S shopper, though I go to Aldi for a lot of things now too (the prices are amazing). I haven't noticed the selection dwindling, though I frequent the ones on the Shoreline and I guess the situation might be different elsewhere. The prices do vary a lot depending on which one you shop at. For example, I avoid the highway robbery of the Branford location and find that the ones in East Haven and Clinton are a bit more reasonable.

this has been going on for a while. it seems every month they suddenly discontinue items that i used to get all the time. first it was Coast soap then it was 3-liter bottles of soda and now certain Entenmanns items only show up occasionally if at all. i'd switch if places like Shop Rite were just as ubiquitous as S&S.

Prices at Big Y and ShopRite will vary from store to store as well. It all depends on what the specific local market will bear.

Yes, I've noticed this. I can't think of most items at the moment, but many times I find myself wondering what happened to _________ that I used to buy there all the time.

One thing I find also, is that many times they advertise Bugles on sale, but they are NEVER there. I check EVERY time I go in, whether on sale or not, and they are nowhere to be found. I can see them being sold out on sale, but it just seems odd that they are never available.

And strangely enough, the shelf sticker is no longer there for them either..........................yet they were just advertised (last week or this week)

Where is the RH one? I always thought Cromwell was the closest one.

Between the lack of selection and the prices, I am starting to spend less time (and money) there.

Has anyone else noticed this?
Yes I noticed it too. Did yours remodel the inside of the store?

i live right down the road from the Cromwell store but i don't go there as much anymore. personally i think the Berlin store is not only bigger and has more options but the gas station is right there in the parking lot way off the main road.
as far as RH, there's too much traffic going in and out of Town Line Rd which is why i avoid it. i'll only go to that area for the Chinese food at Ming Dynasty.

I think their goal is to make their own products... because notice more and more is coming from stop and shop brands
