Biased but largely true. It offers nothing unique aside from closeness to NYC in commute times an closeness and a level of prestige I suppose.

Really? Find me another Westport outside of Fairfield County. The town must have 2 major highways going through it, a beautiful waterfront, a striking downtown, top notch schools, and easy access to mass transit.

Maybe I'm jaded from working there 5 years, but I never found the downtown to be particularly attractive. The waterfront is lovely, though.

I find Westport's downtown to be beautiful. Now Darien's leaves a lot to be desired, IMO.

Westport's downtown is "nice", but as far as similar downtowns I find Fairfield, New Canaan, and West Hartford to be much more pleasing aesthetically.

I agree on Darien. Forgettable.
