Hi,

This is probably a loing shot, but does anyone know of an affordable/free place to park for the Stratford Metro North train? the town lot is full, and my current lot is owned by a slum lord that just jacked the already outrageous quaterly fee.

Thanks in advance.

I do not know but you might try to get on the list for a parking space in Fairfield. They are building a new 1,500 space lot there to open in 2 years and if you put your name on the list now, you should be able to get a space. Jay

abrio, I have heard that we can park at Bally's and there's a little walkway to the train station. I haven't tried this yet because I walk to the station. 6.5 year waiting list for the main lot...what madness

I can verify there is a short walkway that connects up to the rear of Bally's Gym and a huge parking lot with lots of empty spaces. The only problem is after a snowstorm when the snow from the town lot gets plowed into an eight-foot heap in front of the walkway entrance.
