Hello, I am currently house hunting and currently Seymour is at the top of my list because of house prices and the town itself in terms of safety/good place to buy. Everything I have researched says that basically anywhere in Seymour is safe except for the East side bordering Ansonia ( and even then--its probably fine). I am mostly concerned about auto/house break ins, etc., I know that not much "violent" crime happens in the area. Can anyone tell me how the area by Bank street, behind stop & shop/walgreens is? Specifically Martha St., George St, Shelton St, Pershing/Prospect Streets? It appears this seems to be an older area--but how are these neighborhoods in particular? Thanks!

That's a nice area. I think you should be fine.
