Probably going to sound like an idiot, but is this the same place that does an awesome grilled cheese and has a very notable, though I can't remember for the life of me what kind, house soup? Sounds familiar and I could swear a girlfriend of mine raved about Caseus recently, but not in the pizza context..

Grilled cheese + tomato soup is the Caseus Cheese Truck.

They also have an excellent restaurant:

Caseus Fromagerie & Bistro - New Haven, CT | Yelp

They team up with BAR on Tuesdays for a special pizza.

Sally's for sale.
New Haven’s famed Sally’s Apizza for sale
So long as they don't mess with the pizza, it should be positive. The place could stand to be brought into the 21st century.

Sorry OP, but I hate the poll options.

My vote is for Little City Pizza in Simsbury. Thin crispy crust, fresh toppings, and some creative options.

I like Jordan's in Norwalk. Greasy junk food, but good.

I personally love Kitchen Zinc pizza. They are a farm-to-table type restaurant and you can taste it on their pizza.
I also really love the mash-potato and bacon pizza from BAR. Love how crispy the crust is. mmmm
Modern pizza is also great

Once one tries zuppardis....it's hard to believe that he or she would prefer anything else...THE best, hands down, i opinion.

Most OVERRATED?? Sally's....LOUSY PIE IN AN ATROCIOUS setting....hopefully the sale improves things.

Haven't tried that one. Unfortunately my good pizza eating days are over once I was diagnosed with celiac. For gluten free options around here, I love Savor in Norwalk but it is pricy. But I miss good pizza in the worst way - GF just isn't the same. I'm sad I never tried Pepe's and I miss Tarry Lodge's delicious pies.

Modern, Colony, and Kitchen Zinc all have gluten free pies.
