Lake George is a significantly shorter drive from New Haven than it is from Rochester.....

Rochester is practically in the Midwest. For example, people there say the word "pop" instead of "soda."

Niagara Falls: SE
Finger Lakes: wine country.
Lake George: SE.
Adirondack Mountains: SE
Catskills: SE
West Pointe: Military Base
Great Lakes: SE
Thousand Islands: SE
Letchworth State Park: Tallest Waterfall in the US

SE: self explanatory

That is what I know of.

As I said in previous posts, once I work my first year, my pay increases to around $27.50.
