I think Stylo's photography style is the type that should dominate this thread. By style I mean that he focuses on showing specific places rather than artistic photos, although artistic photos of specific places can't hurt. lol

I'm going to start doing the same in my future uploads of photos. We should show the attractions of Connecticut to potential visitors and, in the process, we will also show the beauty of this state.

Stylo you took those pictures? Those are beautiful. That's why I'd like to move to Connecticut, it seems like a lovely state. Another lovely thing is your photography skills.

Good idea.

It was a perfect day weather wise today - temps about 78 F, low humidity and blazing blue skies (not a cloud in the sky) = the perfect East Coast beach day. Today we went to Ocean Beach New London. Now that the summer crowds have thinned...I thought I would take the camera out and snap some pics, I had not been there is a while. The water temp is pretty warm - 72 F and the shallow water was crystal clear;

Self Guided Natural trail through the coastal forest at Ocean Beach Park:

The trail leads down the path past beach dunes and seashore plants. The were Great Egrets everywhere I looked. They normally winter just to the south of CT (Maryland I think). There was a great history of the area and how the 1938 Hurricane changed many things in Connecticut/Long island:

The nature observation deck. At this point you are looking SOUTH toward Fishers island, NY/Montauk, NY. That's the last landmass southward....until you reach the Bahamas (lol):

View from the Top and up the tidal creek:

....hope you enjoyed the tour.

Holy Wow! After a pop up shower and temps dropping here's a rainbow that formed over Stamford just now!
