ive read that NY City can be seen from the 9/11 memorial in Sherwood Island, if possible, pls post as im dying to see that--im into NY views from Connecticut--farthest ive seen was from Rowayton in a real estate ad and it was absolutely breathtaking-- actually saw the towers of Co-op City

some interesting rock formations right behind the CVS and Liberty Bank on 372. just wish the fence wasn't there..

rlrl, this isn't the best quality as it was taken on my phone, but this is NYC as seen from Tod's Point in Greenwich in April.



If you look at the first picture in this article, Witness to the unthinkable: Greenwich Point onlookers recall the day the towers fell - GreenwichTime , you can see what Greenwich residents saw on 9/11 from the exact place where I took the photo above. The images in the article are forced perspective; it's hard to see the skyline that detailed with your naked eye unless it's a very clear day.

that s a great shot. i can tell you that if those trees weren't there Co op City would be visible because thats where they are hidden, in the trees--ive seen a slightly different shot on flicker and you could see the towers right by the trees

Pretty bare here now near the southwest CT coast. Only a few loose Oak and Maple leaves hanging on.

Now that most of the leaves are turning/falling, my evergreens really are the show. With all the dry weather.....my cactus and Yuccas are loving it. This is in southeast coastal CT a few days ago:
