More like being open to doing things you don't like doing now. You know... as in develop new hobbies. I would hope at your age you have not already done every thing in life you could possibly enjoy and now there's nothing left.

I'd spell it out further for you, but it's of no benefit to anyone.

This is the key to every NEP thread. "Wherever you go, there you are." The key to every single thread you've posted is that you are trying to use geography to make up for an inner lack.

If there's nothing you want to do- and you haven't really mentioned anything- then you will be bored wherever you live.

So either get used to being bored, or figure out what you want to do.

That's false. Earlier in this thread, I mentioned that boredom would occur in any place I lived. After living in NYC for a year, I got bored and was ready to move on.

You just proved his point.

Whether it's here, in the work forum, the finance forum, or the exercise forum it's the same story. No motivation, signs of depression, and major ambivalence.

You did admit that, which makes my point. You will be bored anywhere, because of who you are.

Fair....but it's that CT can be depressing to some people. I disagree that it is....I think it is a matter of being able to go out, explore, and try new things. You can't hate on the state or things you haven't tried.

Honestly, I love driving up towards Litchfield and discovering new little restaurants, shops, and spots. Or even running trails.

While CT definitely has depressing aspects--high COL, traffic, etc--there are definitely things that make up for it and things to do.
