Those warnings are a bit deceptive. A fair number of FFC and NHC warnings are not county wide. Wind warnings are only for Southern portions while Winter advisories are limited to Northern FFC/NHC

Wicked at my sisters house. Over 8" of snow with multiple lightning and thunder.

Loop last 4 hrs.. Stare at it a few times, focus on the reds and oranges in CT....wait for it....wait for it...BOOM!

See the movement change? Goes from moving Northeast to now north. Coastal storm took over. It's going to strengthen, stall, and whip in bands into us while cold air filters in

1:15-5:15am loop. Looks like it wants to change over in Hartford now. Poughkeepsie is all snow.

Blue outline is for heavy snow rates when it does change. Heads up Litchfield!

Look at this spin! Winds are picking up. Moisture will be coming from the NE soon

I see where this will be more of an issue for New England being it's smack in the middle of the precip.

I'm closer to the tail end.

The wind will be a little more of an issue imo.

Why is Mother Nature angry?

Be safe everyone!

Some schools are closing. Should start changing over this morning in western CT but the high winds are a concern
