It slowed a bit here in Danbury / Bethel, but picked right back up again

If this was predicted to 6-8 inches and it busts like this, then I would give them some slack. But 2-4 inches should rarely be enough to close school, especially with these fairly warm temps.
OK then I agree with you, now they needlessly have to add a day at the end of the school year.

Nothing but light snow and flurries here. Nothing accumulating. Not falling hard enough. Oh well. Must be winter wonderland north of 84

Spring soon?

Warm up this weekend.
Rain next Tuesday

Question on weather in Conn. When I lived outside of Boston I followed on twitter a weather broadcaster Dave Epstein. He was pretty good, showed good charts and explained the weather for people like me who dont get it. He was very good at saying this area of the state will get this at this time, and this area will get this. And since he is mostly a weekend tv guy, and occassional fill-in, he didnt plug his tv time, or use his feed to promote what he was going to say on tv.

Is there an equivalent in Conn of a person to follow. Someone who knows all the different areas of the state and why certain parts get hit harder then others? Also one who is not going to plug him/herself of when they will be on TV?

Thanks in advance.

Wasn't all that "winter wonderland" when I woke up and left the house. It was disappointing there and disappointing here in Wallingford.

No spring. We need a blizzard.

No one quote this post when I start complaining again in the autumn...

Last month someone posted on a x-country move. Cam replied and commented on a storm coming up. Someone else said, quite sarcastically, what are you, the CD weatherman?

Why yes, yes he is!!

There's barely an inch in Storrs. It's been overcast for a few hours. Someone really screwed up!

Glastonbury is about the same. The roads are pretty clear. DS commented that "they closed schools for this?" Not sure if we are going to get a lot more. Would be interested to hear Cambium's opinion. Jay
