Supposedly their all-time coldest high temperature is -11, so it would be historic! One of my colleagues is originally from the Chicago area and she got stuck at the airport and has to stay their another day (they had a lot of snow and freezing rain today).

Haha. CT weather is so boring and miserable this winter that we are talking about Adirondacks, Vermont, record snows in Maine, Chicago historic cold and winter storm warnings down south tonight.

What a horrible season for us

I might take a 2hr drive north to western MA soon to see snow.

Well as you know my trip to Lake Placid got cancelled - apparently all the fun things up there will be closed due to COLD temps. My question: How do people who work outside survive in Canada during the winter? Does no one work outside I guess?

Trip has been moved to a week from Wed. - hopefully there's lots of snow - that's why we're going!!

FV3-GFS has a storm on Feb. 7th that might be *something*. I just want ONE decent snow this winter! ONE!
