I agree that New Milford edges out the charm, which is why it was a really tough choice, but I've been going back and fourth about it throughout the past few days. However the Quassy Amusement and Waterpark is right on the border of Woodbury and Middlebury and I really enjoy that place, which is why Woodbury edged it out for me in the end.
It's a wash between New Milford > Danbury, and Woodbury > Waterbury. And Danbury is the better city.

But I chose Woodbury too, because I find it to be a really pretty town overall.

Deadline: Friday May 1st at 8:00pm Connecticut Time.

Fairfield County

Westport vs Greenwich

Fairfield vs Ridgefield

New Haven County

New Haven vs Guilford - wow, tough. Two of my favorite places in not only the state, but the country. I’m going to give this to New Haven because of the sheer amount of things to do, food, museums, music, architecture. Very close one. I think Guilford might get the edge as a place to live, but as a place to love - New Haven is just awesome.

Madison vs Milford - agh another hard one. Gotta give it to my current hometown, and it will probably be the underdog. Madison is beautiful. I feel more comfortable in Milford as it’s a bit more down to earth, it’s more convenient to more things. Madison beaches edge out Milford, but Milford has more beaches and a more varied coastline, and unique features like the Audubon Center. Milford has more variety of dining, and 3 breweries. And I love the harbor area, the green, the duck ponds. Really close, though. If this was Milford vs either of the other 2 towns, it would’ve lost. For me it goes 1. New Haven, 2. Guilford 3. Milford 4. Madison.

Hartford County

Glastonbury vs West Hartford

Simsbury vs Farmington

Middlesex County

Old Saybrook vs Essex - close, but Essex center has incredible historic charm that is unmatched. Beautiful well preserved historic homes all over town too.

New London County

Stonington vs North Stonington

Waterford vs East Lyme

Litchfield County

Kent vs Litchfield

Woodbury vs Bridgewater

Tolland County

Mansfield vs Hebron

Windham County

Woodstock vs Pomfret
