My guess is NH is waiting for federal legalization so the state can have the full run of dispensaries, just like they do for liquor.

Happy opening day for recreational sales, Connecticut!

Just what CT needs. Cannot wait for the rest of the state to resemble downtown Bridgeport.

Are we still trying to hang on to 1957? Let go, you can do it.

I wouldn't be surprised if Westport had 4 dispensaries up and running within the month.

Melodramatic? Party of one? There's a table in the dark corner where you may be seated. May I bring you some lemons?

Those of us who grew up in northern CT used to drive to Mass for booze if we ran out or forgot. They closed at 9 when CT closed at 8. How were ever more Puritanical than Mass!?

CT began selling Alcohol on Sunday like a decade after MA did, and legalized weed 4 years later. And Gay marriage later. CT has plenty of puritanical aspects. Same as MA, not a matter of more or less.

I'm just glad the stores are up an open, looks like the prices are high like they were MA prices were back in 2018.

While on topic, I look forward to CT legalizing natural psychedelics. They have an incredible potential, especially for addiction and "resetting" mental health issues.
