My office is moving to NYC and I'd like to look into a parking permit for the Riverside train station parking lot. Is this done through the town of Greenwich? Who do I contact? I'm sure there is a waiting list but it's got to be cheaper and shorter than the Stamford garage.

Check with the town. Here is a link to their web site where you can apply for a permit. Not sure how long the wait will be. Jay

You may have better luck with Cos Cob or Old Greenwich. If I were you, I would put my name on all lists. Riverside is generally the one with the longest waiting list, and there may be no waiting list for the others.

Reusing an old thread -
do you have to be a current Greenwich resident to apply for the train parking permit at Riverside or Old Greenwich?

Not sure, but I would think so given the wait lists... contact the Greenwich Town Hall to ask.

I had my name on Old Greenwich and Cos Cob and within a year and a half had permit offers from both places. I turned both down as I ended up not needing but the wait wasn't bad at all.
