I doubt this has anything to do with Malloy. It does appear to have to do with Ciminelli's indictment in New York though. Jay

Its a state project on state land in Malloy's hometown. You can bet it has everything to do with him.

This evening I passed by the Stamford Town Center and noticed that The Cheesecake Factory is open. Judging by the amount of people seen from the outside, it seems to be a hit... at least for now.

I didn't had time to take a photo, but will try to do so at some point this weekend.

The oldest building in Stamford (built in the 1600's) is on the move. As I approached the site next to the Stamford Police Department on Bedford Street, I thought something horrible happened to the historic colonial home. As I got closer it seems that they intentionally split the house to make easier the transfer to a new site. The parcel where the house stood will be part of the new police department that will be built supposedly starting next year.

I guess that means I don't have to post any photos of The Cheesecake Factory.

Thanks Cambium! LOL

I showed the photos on this post, now you can see the video of its relocation in The Advocate, Stamford's local newspaper: Barnum house relocation snarling High Ridge Road Sunday morning - StamfordAdvocate.

Its somewhat hard to see, but they already put the first windows (the dark panels on the left) on one of the highrises on Tresser Blvd and Atlantic Street.

I took the photo last night.

Can anyone point me in the right direction of an updated Harbor Point master plan? Particularly interested in the retail/office locations. It's one thing to build the apartments and bring the people, but another thing to create a vibrant neighborhood with mixed-use properties.
