What's the purpose in the booming, thumping sounds coming from car stereos? I've heard theories ranging from mating rituals, mind control, and communication between drug dealers. Is anyone else thoroughly irritated by this, or am I in the minority?
People who have no taste in speakers that think overpriced junk that they pay in monthly payments makes them have status. Note their crappy cars often get repossessed due to this. They would rather pay for junk then pay for the car and act all surprised when the car gets seized from them over non payment. The car company don't care if you put in 50,000 worth of customization in your 10k car. You didn't make the payments on the 10k car so all that stuff you put in the car is now the car company's by writ of law.
These are the same people that use their cell phone to play the music rather then get a dedicated sound system in the car like Blaupunkt.
You cannot even hear the music or lyrics because of the crappy audio system. If I wanted a sound system where people in their houses could hear what I was playing I would want to hear the music since Ghost BC demands to be heard by the masses. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vyQZ13jobIY see now that would alarm people if they all of a sudden it in their homes loud and clear with a good loud speaker system that was from a car passing by. Better yet the song Satan Prayer or Year Zero.
It's incredibly stupid. Just kids announcing to the world that they know how to use the volume knob on the radio. I'm sure Mom is very pleased. Thankfully, I do come across this less often lately. I think kids are smarter today than when I was coming up.
I know in Collerville TN you can get a ticket for that. I hate it so much, and it's so dang inconsiderate. Then the b's and the w's and the mf's come blaring out when there are children around and other respectable people who don't want to hear that aural vomit.
Which is one of the reasons I have money invested in companies who make hearing aids.
