Wyoming 6 ppl per sq mile.

D/C 10,588 ppl per sq mile.

You want to try again for a better comparison?
Erm...this is WHY he said PER 100,000 people.

Per, per, per, per.

I love how the best responses are to the effect of "let me make up a scenario that sounds bad because it will help me get my point across and scare the living daylights out of those who disagree with me"

Statistics? Nah, who needs those. Scary scripts are better!

Default NC BBQ Restaurant With Prominent “NO GUNS” Sign Robbed at Gunpoint by Three Men In Hoodies

Few people seem to notice that criminals (especially mass murderers) prefer gun free zones. Schools, post offices, etc.

I am glad I waited and read your reply. I was going to say the same thing. There is a reason they normalize data; to account for population size.

So what if it doesn't? I STIL want my concealed carry. I am not responsible for reducing crime in the city. Just protecting myself. Gotta problem with that?

The states with the most violence are generally the ones with the most lenient gun laws. That is a fact. Violent crime is much worse in the South with its lenient gun laws than in the Northeast with more strict gun laws.

Southern states also have the highest percentage of black population:

It may sound racist () to suggest a connection, but I don't think it's a secret that crime rates are very high for blacks. It stands to reason, that states that are 25%+ black will have higher crime rates.

The guns laws that matter are Federal. States have nothing to do with it. Name a "lenient" gun law, by the way.
