Cops saving lives? They could care less if you die. The only thing the cops care about is power, and their unlimited authority over you. Here are cops interfering with REAL heros who are actually trying to save lives..

What?

Boy, you sure lost a lot of credibility with that statement...

I see that there are some of the people I referenced in my earlier post regarding bigotry on here (big surprise), and they cannot STAND for there to be a positive thread regarding cops but must hijack it for their own agenda.

Shame on them.

No; work as a police officer cultivates an easier recognition of, and distaste for the riffraff at the bottom of our society for whom avoidance of a steady job and other measures of responsibility is a primary focus.

Ad anyone who makes life for them a bit less pleasant is a positive person, in my book.

If you regularly find yourself "in the sights" of law enforcement, perhaps you should pay closer attention to the image you project.

I don't own a gun, and I never call a cop for myself.

You mean in their sights, like those firefighters and EMTs who were in their sights when they got arrested just for doing their jobs, and truly heroic jobs I might add? The opposite of the type of lowlife scum that arrested them.

So if a home invasion happened, and one of them held you or your wife at gunpoint while the other robbed your house of all its valuables, then after they left you would not call the cops?

Sorry but the police in this country are not liked or respected by the vast majority of people, most of whom a are law abiding citizens. If the people who do this type of work don't like that, then they need to change their image and clean up their act.

Starting silly threads to gloss over the problem, is not going to change anyones opinion of LEO. Because for any good act you can find that a cop does, I can find you no less then a hundred bad ones.

No, because I fear the police way more then I do robbers. Robbers just want your valuables. Give it to them and they are gone.
