White is a race so is a protected class. Race is not only for minorities. Most groups are not protected class. You might be legally allowed to refuse to serve members of the local stamp collecting club but not just the male members. I am not positive on this.

Why? There are laws against discriminating based on race and disability. There are no laws against discriminating based on KKK membership.
Here is a link to Washington's Law Against Discrimination. Notice it prohibits discrimination based on sexual orientation, race, creed, etc. It says nothing at all about discrimination based on membership in the KKK, other hate groups, or clubs of any kind.
I'm trying to figure out why you would even want to business to somebody who clearly want nothing to do with you. Let people or store owners have a choice and make sure customers knows of their opinions before they waste their time entering their store/business. If I walked by a bakery and it was posted on the door " we do not bake cakes for gay weddings" I would just keep on going. I wouldn't give a dime to people like that. In a way it's a good thing because it gives everybody a choice.
What made these particular things protected? Social changes followed by legal changes. There was a time in this country when only male landowners had any rights at all.
I seriously doubt the day will come when sexually abusing children becomes a protected class.

I wouldn't live in $hitty world that was 100 or 200 years ago. It would be insane to think that what was norm say 100 or 200 years ago was better than today - I am glad people have got rid of nonsense that existed those many years ago be it in religion or normal practices. I have no doubt nothing "insane" is going to be a law or anything close in future although if I happen to be some kind of "nuts" I might think so.

Glass, the lady did business with the couple before they decided to get married for other events, (or at least one of the partners; I'm not clear on that). Then when they decided to get married she didn't want to do their wedding. So it obviously discrimination.

I agree. I would even hate to find out later that I had supported a business that really didnt care to support folks like me. I think I would feel decieved in some way, at the very least.
