FYI. In about 2 hours I'm going to drop off a case of canned Tuna at the LDS food bank. They're having a clothing and food drive for the quake victims. My daughter has some childrens jackets and jump suits that the grandson has grown out of all washed and ready to go. He'll be with us. She wants to teach him about giving to others.
I can't do much else but I'm not going to waste time following the wall to wall garbage about the new princess.
There are more important things going on in the world. Just sayin'.
Of course, but in the midst of all the tragic news that's been flooding the media recently, it's a nice change to see something happy. My local news has been wall-to-wall coverage of the James Holmes trial, and my heart can only take so much violence, death, and destruction at a time. This news is a welcome bit of relief from the sadness.
In a way I feel a bit sad for this child. Because of the family she was born into, and the media obsession with the royal family, she will not have much of a normal life. Better than growing up in poverty though.
The world's newest princess has been introduced!
Just hours after giving birth to a baby girl, the Duchess of Cambridge stepped outside a London hospital with husband Prince William and their newest bundle of royal joy. Neither Kate nor William said anything, but smiled and waved to cheering crowds.

That was fast! I went home after twelve hours with my third, and I thought that was a really quick dismissal. Nice photo of the happy and probably exhausted parents.

Naming the child after a reigning monarch? I'll believe it when I see it.
