Why are attacks necessary on conservatives when we're not the ones slicing people up? The whole ISIS deal does not have an easy solution by design. Cowards ambush, kidnap and slaughter innocents, then use the survivors as human shields. The Islamic State barbarians are COWARDS who will not fight in the conventional sense of war. They know they're wrong, and they know they'll lose if allied countries ever get their act together and swarm them properly.

Drone strikes are being perpetuated by whom? He's not a conservative. What's your solution? Until someone on the left comes up with a realistic scenario as to how to WIN, I really don't want to hear it.

They're shooting above their heads and or using blanks. If you shoot somebody it in the head, especially from that distance with those weapons it is going to be like a melon exploding. it would be like what happened to JFK's head.

This is the video of a Vietcong prisoner being shot by General Nguyen Ngoc Loan. You've probably seen the famous photo of this. This is pretty graphic. Viewer discretion is advised. The entry wound becomes like Old Faithful.

Hopefully, it's bogus as post 9 says. Or maybe blanks in the guns.

Isis Executes 200 young Assad regime soldiers

If anyone has Obama's email address, could you make sure he gets a copy of this? Not that he'd likely care.

The United States is kept too sanitized as to what's going on in the rest of the world.

When's the last time you, as an American, heard anything about what's happening in Liberia right now? My guess it's never, or not in a very long time.

If America really paid attention to the horrors happening elsewhere in the world, we would be forced to act to help these folks.

Hey that is nothing to compare what we did, it makes you wonder who the real terrorist is.

Conveniently these videos and reports pop up just at the right time. One report came out saying not to worry about illegal immigration from Mexico because they are going back on their own. This is to undercut Trump. We’ve known about ISIS atrocities for years but just when refugees are the topic of the day another video is “discovered” showing “children” being shot. Then we find out they are Syrian soldiers captured after their base fell. Right on cue, three posts down and somebody asks we have to take in more refugees. The sad part is they think people can’t see through this.

I think this was the mass execution of Syrian soldiers - from which three or four actually escaped (by playing dead). I've seen a video interview of one of the survivors. He had to wait under the pile of bodies until night when he could sneak away. Then he had to get his bullet holes fixed. At least two others survived and were interviewed by the same crew, but not videotaped (that I saw).

My recollection of the video I saw was that the survivor said between 200 and 300 soldiers were executed on that day in front of that berm. Maybe it was 100-200; it was over a year ago.

If you were in charge during world war 2 the headlines would read something like this,

New York( November 22, 2015). American bombers conducted three raids over Tokyo, being careful not to damage any oil installations which the Japanese might need after the war ends. The grandson of Emperor Hirohito warned of retaliation. Meantime in the European theatre, allies were debating whether to enter Germany. President Obama refuses to call the German government Nazis because we might play into their hands. The most effective way to fight the grandson of Adolf Hitler is to open our arms to refugees.

The problem of utilizing U.S. military force is a tricky one that often requires political capital. We are in shorter supply of that now than say, September 12, 2001.

Would it be righteous and satisfying to unleash American troops who are combat hardened from Iraq and Afghanistan on deserving bad guys? Of course. What is the end game though? We Americans have ridiculously short attention spans. The news cycle seems to decide the "cause du jour" and good efforts are often forgotten or booed if they do not produce immediate, feel-good results. Any problem worth utilizing American military lives and effort will NOT be fixed in short order. Do not be seduced by the 100-hour victory that was Desert Storm nor the surgical precision of Neptune Spear.

The moment our troops make a mistake while on the ground, the public will be clamoring for their heads, wondering why we're "over there" again.

It is human nature, this desire to always "do something!" It is emotional in nature, with good intentions. But emotions fade, and logic and reason soon rear their less-sexy heads.

Sadly, the "something" most Americans seem able to do is to call on others to "do something" and throw a hashtag on their thoughts and digitally sign a petition.
