A Pontiac woman claims she found a worm in her McDonald's Filet-O-Fish.

Andrea Calkins took a couple of bites into her fish sandwich on Wednesday when she noticed something in the meat.

“I took my nail and I scooped it out and put it on the bread and it was an actual worm,” said Calkins.

A) Because you think worms cannot be found in farmed fish?

B) The mcdonalds.com website clearly states that the Filet-O-Fish is made with wild-caught fish.

C) Do you have a point? You seem to think the world has been breathlessly awaiting 'proof' that McDonald's uses wild-caught fish. [it hasn't - see above]

All fish have worms between the layers of their flesh, it makes no difference if they're wild or farm raised or if they come from salt water or fresh water or if they've been medicated or not.

So what?

My daughter is a restaurant manager and I was surprised when told how many people go into a restaurant and have no intention of paying for their meal. A customer once complained that the spaghetti was too short to twirl on her fork. She ate for free and received a $10 gift card from corporate headquarters.

I don't understand how she noticed a tiny white worm in a white filet of fish, but stranger things have happened. She might get lucky and receive six months worth of free calorie-laden food she shouldn't be eating in the first place. Pure gala for her!

Larry "I think I'll go fishing tomorrow"

Moe "Do you have worms?"

Larry "Yeah, but I'm going anyway"

Last time I ate "food" at McDonald's was May, 1998.

And that is the last time I stepped foot in a McDonald's.

The only thing good about McDonald's is their coffee.
