A 23-year-old woman in Mexico broke dozens of bones and underwent 11 hours of surgery after falling at least 80 feet from the balcony of a high-rise apartment building while doing yoga, reports say.

Alexa Terrazas, of San Pedro, Nuevo León, was hanging over the glass balcony when she lost her balance and plummeted to the ground last weekend, according to Spanish news outlet El Sol de Mexico. She was taken to the Zambrano Hellion Medical Center, where doctors said her ankles and knees will need to be restructured and recovery could take three years, the outlet reported.

What an idiot. She broke over 100 bones. Should be years before she heals up.

This sounds about right for the majority of 18-25 year-olds I interact with today. I think the only surprise is she didn't go to the very top of the building to try it while taking a selfie.

How awful! Hope she heals quickly and learns from her mistake. Her friends/family must feel really grateful she survived!!

No sympathy from me. I'm just glad she didn't hurt anyone else while doing it. I'm allergic to stupidity. Living in a big city I see people do stupid things multiple times a day but this one's right at the top. It's scary knowing she might actually get a chance to breed in the future.
