whew I had a moment of panic this morning when I saw the email the woman I teach with sent me that had the subject line
tomorrow and seafood
yikes my first thought was omg she is bringing seafood to class
my second was "damn I know the kids are going to try to pressure me into "tasting" it
But then I read the whole email and she was asking me questions about the upcoming seafood dinner fundraiser as well as asking me to bring in flowers because we are doing pressed flowers in class today
whew lol that was way to much "excitement" at 4:30 this morning
So I will be going out to gather some blossoms as soon as it gets light and the sprinkler has stopped sprinkling in the back.
I am going to run some of the errands after school that I didn't get to yesterday
I need to take a picture of my "tomato plant" omg it is almost as tall as I am and since I put the tomato cage in upside down I had to go in with some bamboo stakes and string as well as a couple of knee highs to help support this huge mass lol lol it is quite the interesting um "look"
I can not imagine what we are going to do with all the "tamaters" it has on it
I do not eat them and how many can dear hubby eat on his sandwiches
It sounds like you all are up inthe tundra are getting a little warmer we are suppose to hit in the 80's this weekend I will send you 10 degrees if you want

Hey, Karla, et al.
I like jewel tone colors in my house too. One of these days we'll have to do some painting. This place needs it badly.
Karla, are you allergic to seafood, or is it one of those things you will not allow to pass thru your lips? Me, I like some seafood, but it can't taste "fishy" if ya know what I mean.
Our tomatoes are doing pretty well, 1 plant better than others. I just know they're all going to ripen during the time DH is up north. Guess I'll be looking up tomato recipes, too!
Good news - my baby sister may come down and spend a weekend with me while Hubster's visiting his parents. There's an airline that flies into Tampa/St. Pete from up there, it's a direct flight and she can get it for less than $100 round trip! Can't wait. We enjoy each other's company so much, and she really could use a break from everything that's been going on in her life lately.
What am I doing today? Hm. Not sure yet. I think a trip to the pool may be in my future. I'd like to take some pictures of the garden as I've promised them to some people and it's looking so good - things are filling out and blossoming beautifully. I even managed to put the tomato cages in right side up. (Ahem)
We were going to walk this morning, but hubby's not feeling too great, so that went by the wayside.
Hi everyone.
What's the story on the poison ivy Evey?
Karla, I like seafood but not when it smells like fish. According to Emeril, seafood is not supposed to smell fishy anyway.
We went yesterday and got our drivers licenses renewed and it wasn't very bad at all. It's the best DMV office I've ever been to.
I've walked already and now doing some laundry.
Holy Moly, I did a Jillian Michaels workout that's almost an hour, I think that's the hardest one I've ever done. They took the 30 min cardio I had been doing off. Must have expired and I missed the notice.
Karla, I had beautiful tomato plants last year, and mine started getting too tall for the stakes, so I found some old branches and tied it to the stake, then around the plant, then added on to that the same way, just kept tying on like splints! It looked pretty goofy, but it worked out, so that's what counts, and it even withstood the covers we threw over them when it frosted. Or when we got frost, I should say. I've got frosting on the brain!
ok talk about coincidences in school today guess what we talked about !!!
IDing Poison Ivy we had pictures and taught the kids "leaves of 3, let it be"
So I have to ask does the PI cranky rate up there with the snow cranky
lol ok go ahead and you can hit me
Fish is one of hte items not on my selective eaters list
none of it lol if it comes from the ocean it does not go on my plate
Pattie is she taking Southwest ? they always have such god deals
lol frosting sounds real good right now especially if it is on top of a cake
lol I need to go check the pantry

No, she's going with Alliant. That's why I have to pick her up in Tampa/St. Pete. They don't fly into our airport. Hey, are you planning on visiting your FIL in May? We could get together.
Oops. that's Allegiant airline, not Allilant!

LOL Karla! No, the snow cranky is most assuredly worse. You can put ointment on a rash, but you just have to wait on the snow.
I have no idea where we got it, or even if it might be poison oak or poison sumac. I know it can take up to a week from the point of contact for the rash to appear. I am sure it came from some off road bunny chasing......
I busted my butt at the gym this morning. Managed to run on the treadmill again too. I was shaking from lifting, and had a hard time signing my name at the bank.
Well, I gotta go. Have the school concert tonight!
