accident at lovers and tollway (man fell off bridge) (Dallas: home, university)

it looks like a guy was hit on a motorcycle and flew off the bridge onto the tollway. He had motorcycle gloves on and boots so figured he was riding. The railing was busted up top so I figured he fell off the bridge. Nothing on the news yet. I just got home and drove by this as the first cop showed up.

I took a picture of it but decided to take it down. Anyone know what happened.

Dallas Fire and Rescue incidents say motorcycle accident, nothing else. The picture didn't look good, I hope he recovers.

The picture didn't make sense to me, Lover's goes underneath the Tollway and it appeared the victim fell onto the tollway (not Lovers) from the picture, perhaps it was Mockingbird or University in which he was hit on his motorcycle?

I think it was NW Hwy. that would make more sense.

Just looked at google maps traffic, traffic backed up in the south tollway lanes from NW Hwy to 635, clears just past NW Hwy, bet that's where it is.

Sad. Tragic.

I had a cousin that was killed on his motorcycle at DNT and LBJ 16 years ago this August. The driver that hit him did not stop. When he was finally caught the next day or two it's too late to see if he was drinking to get them for intoxication manslaughter.

There was another motorcyclists killed up in North Dallas around DNT on Sunday.

DH wants to get another bike and I have kept telling him no. NO WAY! It's bad enough people don't pay any attention to other motorists on the road and almost hit your car. People just don't pay attention. To be on a bike just makes it that much worse.

I pay attention but motorcyclists need to do their part too. Weaving in and out of cars and riding in someone's blind spot aren't the smartest things to do either. I see motorcyclists doing both on a daily basis both to and from work.
