Hello everyone, We are planning to buy a home within Frisco ISD and considering "Heights at westridge" in McKinney . Is it a good neighbourhood for a young family with a 3 year old? what should I look out for? Do you like it - if you happen to live there?

What's your take on american legend homes in that subdivision?

I appreciate your inputs.

If your budget is under about $200,000, I think it is a good choice. The Westridge golf course is a nice public course, very reasonable rates. The location is close to shopping and entertainment....

I can not offer an opinion on American Legend, but I am sure someone else will.I am not familiar with that builder....

Default other options?

Thanks for your response, CREW747. My budget is around 250,000. Please do share if you have any suggestions on other subdivisions in Frisco ISD - preferably for new homes but open to pre-owned homes as well.

I have been there, it's definintely a starter neighborhood. Houses and lots were small, mostly 50' lots I believe. For your price point its a nice place to look if you have to have new. In that price range I thought Hidden Creek was better.

American Legend builds a decent home.

If you are looking to build new under $250,000 I would suggest the following subdivisions....

- Robinson Ridge in Mc Kinney, starts at $200,000

- Cedar Ridge in Prosper, starts at $230,000

Good luck with your search!!
