We live in the part near Addison and we like it, too. Diversity, good people, and it's very convenient to Dallas. From subbing at various schools in CFBISD and just from getting involved in the community in Carrollton, it seems that the northern part of Carrollton is quite different in terms of having more money, less diversity, less down-to-earth people, etc. I don't think that part of Carrollton wants to claim our part.

We have been in the area for about 4 months and my daughter is at Hebron Valley. So far we are very content. I feel safe in the area and it is very convenient to 35 and 121 (the husband travels into Dallas for work so it is a great location.) It is super easy to get around to any part of Dallas really and it is actually pretty diverse with a mix of caucasian, Indians and Asians.
