Oh, is that still there? I haven't been in years since I last worked nearby. Our company used to have it catered in.

I like to watch Bobby Flay, he did a trip through Texas reporting on the best barbeque, he had Sonny Bryan on the list for Dallas and Angelo's in Fort Worth. I know Angelo's is good because I grew up eating there, I trust Bobby Flay on this one.

THAT'S IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Closer to real Texas BBQ than most other places.

While Bobby Flay may be good I would not say that EVERY Sonny Bryan's location is as worthy of a visit as the original on Inwood. There are even many others that beat the original and Coopers in Llano is one. YUM!!!!!!

Default Feed Store

Go to the Feed Store in Southlake. Southlake is a suburb of Dallas and is just down the road. The Feed Store is a family owned business on Whites Chapel that's been around for a long time. It has great BBQ and is well known throughout the area. Beware of a wait if you go on a Sunday after church Enjoy

Thanks for the link! Have never noticed it there even though I've been by it several times it seems (must have had my windows up not to be able to smell it). I was looking over the menu and got extremely hungry... will have to visit VERY SOON! The only problem I see is having to decide what to have 'cause right now I want it all!

Question... has anyone ever had the cornbread salad? Never heard of this and was wondering how it was?

Everything we've tried has been great. As for the cornbread salad it's a small salad that has cornbread instead of lettuce. I tried it, don't need to have it again but lots of people were getting it. You should try a piece of their cobbler for dessert, very yummy.

Another BBQ place that we enjoy is Pappa's BBQ on NW Highway. It's a drive for us to go there but we've never been disappointed. The sliced beef is always perfect.
