I don't know about your needs or options but it would've been a stupid choice for her budget, commute, schooling, housing and lot requirements. If she had to settle for FISD and drive daily ttowards Mckinney then paying big bucks in Plano was totally unnecessary. Only reason Plano demands big bucks is for location and schools. In my humble opinion, Lovejoy ISD is much better than FISD. YMMV.

This isn't something to be glossed over. Those bumpy two lane roads in the Lovejoy area aren't exactly selling points, IMO.

I take FISD over Lovejoy anyday!

I would take PISD over FISD or LJISD anyday but some people like small town/single high school/acreage thing, if its near their family business then probably makes juggling life easier.

Puppy3D, Lovejoy ISD voters just voted down (on Tuesday 11-5) a $75 million school bond issue so the commitment of their citizens to spend for quality schools is currently in question. Better than Frisco ISD? By the way, Plano ISD voters just passed a school tax increase with 62 percent voting for it.
