It could be icy, it could be 90 degrees. February is a month of surprises.

mmm yes, well said. Today it is over 100 degrees (in the sun, which may sound bad...but it really is quite comfortable) according to my thermometer. Today is warm, but February is really odd here... you cane get a comfortable sunny at 60-70 degrees, a cold windy snowy day at 20 degrees, or warm slightly uncomfortable day at 80... The Way uncomfortable hot days come in the summer, which I actually have started to find appealing...I mean sure you sweat and it is 90-100 degrees (110-130 in the sun) but that makes it feel really refreshing when you visit the pool...its hard to explain... i too find it uncomfortable but also pleasing in a way...Except when you're in the car for the first 5 minutes...god, a true Texan knows that is real torture.

Today is absolutely fantastically GLORIOUS!

I just came back from riding my bike around White Rock Lake - a lot of people out today. It was sooooo beautiful. I just love Dallas during this time of the year.

This weekend TONS of people were out and about. We took out a different car both days w/ the top down just to cruise. Saw tons of people out on their motorcycles along w/ bicyclists. EVERY car wash was PACKED! People out washing cars in driveways. My kids played out all day both days. Should have heated the pool.

Yep, couple of years ago on Valentines we had a REALLY GOOD snow. It was heavy and wet so it stuck. We lost a tree into our pool on that one.

It was SOO beautiful this weekend, loved it!

That snow was in 2004, it was our first winter here, and my first real snowfall. It was as beautiful as this weekend in its own way.

Let's see, this past weekend it was close to 80, sunny and BEAUTIFUL!!!

Friday is supposed to be a HIGH of 37 (BRRRRRRRRRRRRR) and RAIN!

I'll NEVER complain about heat again. After last winter and this years I've had more than my share of cold weather. It can go away now.
