Hello, I am 23 year old young professional currently living in Indianapolis, but moving to Dallas for a job. I will have a roommate and am curious where the best place for us to live would be. I am single and would like an area that has a lot of young people, good nightlife, and a lot of stuff to do within walking distance (i.e. Lincoln Park in Chicago). Public transportation nearby would be nice as well but not necessary. I would also like an Indianapolis v. Dallas comparison (if there is any). I am definitely a big city guy so this should be a pleasant change. Thank you in advance for your insight.

Try the Village - includes several apartment communities for young adults close to the downtown area with Dart Rail access nearby.

TheVillageapts.com | Home (http://www.thevillageapts.com/index_flash.shtml - broken link)

If you'll click on "Find Your Apartment Home" at the top of the first screen, you can put in your desired rent range, etc., in the second screen and it'll bring up all the communities matching it.

Good luck in your move to Texas!
