It says $450 last month for 4800 KW usage over 33 days.

It seems a little high, but she has folks cranking the AC down to 68, which is pretty low. I can believe it.

North Texas is under a Flash Flood Watch starting midnight until 6am Sunday. 1 to 3 inches of rain can be expected with isolated amounts of 4 inches being possible. This is the 6th weekend in a row of rain.

Update from the National Weather Service

Quote:
Average storm total rainfall from Saturday morning through Tuesday shows a swath of 6 to 8 inches across North Texas centered on the DFW Metroplex. Farther north and south amounts should be less, but still 2 to 6 inches are likely. Flash flooding and river flooding will be a concern through early week.

Very heavy rain in the Metroplex right now. Rainfall rates are as high as 5 inches per hour! That’s blinding rain. Y’all be safe.

Absolutely. It's not fun driving in it.The side lanes get quickly flooded and it would be so easy to hydroplane. I put my hazards on here in the rain and drive like my granny. Thankfully people here don't seem to tail you in the rain and keep a distance. I can't get over how much rain DFW gets!

That is a lot of KW...your usage is definitely much higher than average.
