While those events are tragic, that statement alone doesn’t support your argument that Plano’s murder rate is skyrocketing. Will you please provide more facts to support your statement?

LOL. Sky Is Falling- By Henny Penny.

Collin County is a big diverse county full of humans and not immune to their flaws. However, in one case alleged murderer from Forney fired at a party of Allen High School kids in Plano (part of Plano is served by Allen ISD). In other case, two women from Rio Grande Valley (likely home healthcare providers) robbed and killed two elderly Plano residents in their apartment.

In both cases, arrests were made within hours. Thanks to our awesome police department. Heartfelt condolences to the families of those victims.

This article provides some comparison. As whole DFW is intertwined with no borders, we all need to work together to make it safer for everyone.

Plano doesn't have a wall around it.

That said, it's interesting to note that all this mayhem was happening on the east side of town.

Despite living in the area most my life, I only recently went to the east side of Plano (was lost on my way to pay off a speeding ticket). May I say, the difference is really stark and different, like a whole other world.

Definitely. We live in west Plano now and it's like a different town.

I remember from my travels to Texas there were signs at the state lines that said "Welcome to Texas. If you kill us we kill you back".

Have they taken those signs down I wonder?

I don't believe those ever existed.
